"After the spring game, my coach (Jonathan Gess) received a text from Tennessee saying (fellow sophomore) Keyante Green and myself had offers," Rochell said. "Since then I’ve talked with the defensive coordinator (Justin Wilcox). I’ve been to Knoxville. I got to see their basketball court when I played in a tournament up there. We got to see the football stadium which seats over 100,000. It was real cool."

"The first thing I plan on looking at is the location," said Rochell. "Second, I want to play defensive end in college. South Carolina has offered me as an offensive tackle. I’m not going to shut them off because of that, but it’s something I’m going to factor in when making my decision."

Eagles Landing Christian Academy [McDonough, Ga.] junior Isaac Rochell would like to head back to Clemson sometime this fall to checkout a game.

"I really like coach Hobby," Rochell told CUTigers.com on Wednesday night. "I'm actually about to call him, later on tonight."

Several factors will be considered as Rochell works towards his decision.

"What kind of program they have -- from all aspects, even academically -- things like that," he said. "It's easy to figure out a good football program. It's harder to find a really good program. That's just what I'm looking for."

Scouting Report: Rochell is an intriguing prospect because he could end up as a defensive lineman or offensive lineman on the next level. He is very athletic, he has good length, and he has good mobility. As a defensive end, he really uses his size to his advantage. He uses the bull rush a lot, he gets up the field, and he gets his long arms in passing lanes. As an offensive tackle, he is still developing. He uses his length to his advantage here and he really shows good mobility. s his body continues to develop, that could be the deciding factor as to where he plays on the next level. He plays hard, he is a smart player, and he has a good frame for coaches to work with. He needs to work being more explosive off the ball and his pad level as well as adding strength.

"I went up there for kind of an unofficial and for a camp. It was really nice. I really liked it," Rochell said.

"Just the coaching staff. I really like coach Lance (Thompson) and coach (Peter) Sirmon. I like coach (Justin) Wilcox. They have a really good program. I know they haven't had the best of years in the past, but I feel like with coach Dooley they're probably going to take a turn for the better. I just really like the program. I like the atmosphere," he said

The D-lineman broke down what he wants to see before signing his letter of intent.

"All the other things fall into place with playing time and stuff because I'll have to be there four years," he said. "So, I want to go to a place where I really know for a fact this is where I need to be and has a good atmosphere. I kind of like the family feel on each campus, not just coaches."
