Read that he's being recruited as a CB.

Ramsey has been here 4 times since the O&W game & plans to attend a couple games this season also.

Quote:

"We had the same views on how the practice went when we talked,” Ramsey said. “That was pretty cool. And then, they told me they really like me and things like that, and I appreciate that. They told me what my role would be if I went to UT. They said it would be (cornerback), but I could also play nickelback because of my size.”

“They really want me, and they’re planning on taking on four (defensive backs) in my class, so they just want me to take that into consideration,” he said. “And they want me to feel as comfortable as I can around them, and I feel comfortable.”

"It was amazing. It was more than I thought," Ramsey said. "Being at the spring game was nice, but being at an actual fall football game? It was crazy. The fans were loud. My dad and I were sitting next to each other and we could hardly hear each other talk. The atmosphere and home-field advantage is really good at Neyland Stadium.

"It was exciting. I liked how the coaches' attitude and demeanor were on game day. I'd been around them and they seem excited but calm. But you could really tell on Saturday that they were hyped up and ready to go."

Sirmon is his main recruiter.

He'll start for us right now. He's a ballhog on the corner. This is a must get for the staff. I think Dooley knows this, that's why Sirmon is on him.
