Fortenberry reiterated a few days ago that Burleigh is a guy to watch this summer, the staff wants to see him in camp & see how he has developed.

Another name to watch out for is Jackson offensive lineman Rob Burleigh. Apparently had a pretty good day at camp and while he didn't receive an offer it sounds like Tennessee will be continue to evaluate moving forward.

"He's got really good feet. He's got all of the ability," veteran South Side head coach Jerry Hayes said. A 6-foot-4 1/2, 284-pounder, Burleigh plays the left tackle position, meaning he's entrusted with protecting the quarterback's blind side. That makes him especially attractive to college recruiters.

"He's going to be offered by Div. I schools," Hayes said. "Is he going to be offered by UT and that caliber of school? We'll have to wait and see. He's got to be outstanding because you're going against the best in the country in the SEC. You have to be dominant in high school to play at that level."

"He never played football until he was a sophomore in high school," Hayes said. "This is his third year, so he's got to catch up. He went to the UT camp last year and again this year, though, and they couldn't believe the improvement. They didn't offer him at the camp but if he comes out and dominates this fall I think they will offer him a scholarship."

Very doubtful he will receive a TN offer. We have passed on solid OL who want to commit already because we are full on the OL.
