STRENGTHS: McClain was among the most impressive physical specimens at the Elite Scouting Combine. He is a thick, strong middle linebacker prospect with quick feet and is agile. He is explosive in his attack.
WEAKNESSES: He needs to continue to get stronger in his base and work on playing laterally.
CONCLUSION: McClain is an ideal option at middle linebacker because he is very good north-south. He does a good job of engaging the ballcarrier low and driving with his legs.
