Any time I hear about a player for the first time and see he's from the state of Alabama, my first thought is that we have no shot.

You read my mind sammyjoey, I thought the exact same thing. I know the staff has to try & get players out of Alabama but it seems like a wasted cause.

The last decent-good player from Alabama that signed with UT that i recall is Jayson Swain. That's been 8 years.

That's doubly true when they live 20 minutes from Auburn/Tuscaloosa (Auburn in this case).

He said "the LAST good player" not the only good player. And Wes Brown is the only one you mentioned that came after Jayson.

Next time read it a little bit closer there fancy font.

Aubby and Bama are still after him. I know he'll be highly sought after next year.

That was only due to LSU's sick depth on the D line. Copeland would be a DT or DE at nearly any other school.

Watching Copeland airblocking against Alabama just makes me sick. It's like watching your ex-wife dance with the town drunk.
