There is as much draw to Mullen's success with players as there is to UT. Notice I didn't say MSU...because I am honest with myself, we haven't had a history of success placing skill position guys in the NFL, but Mullen has. So while everyone wonders why he is even considering MSU...consider this....this is Relf's last year..and his 3 backups (two HS Parade All-Americans btw)...all slung it a ton in HS...and are expected to sling it in college. The offense will be COMPLETELY different than what everyone sees now in 2012
How many skill players has he put in the NFL while at MSU?

The guy's only been there two seasons...Not a large enough sample, IMO.

That is a good point. I also think once Mullen has consistent success at MSU his connection to those guys you mentioned will be even stronger like saying he can do it at UF, he can do it at MSU, he can do it anywhere.

Well...i will tell you this...it's become a poorly kept secret in the Bulldog circle that he has been talking with a couple WR prospects of ours. In particular WR D'Arthur Cowan (offers from ARK, BAMA, MSU... but its down to MSU and ARK)

A lot of the guys associated with MSU recruiting seem to think he is coming to MSU...lol. So...some people are going to be disappointed on Aug 18th.

He might be going to MSU, who knows? Maybe the Redding commitment scared him off?

In my opinion, we have plenty of talent at WR for the coming years. Therefore, I don't necessarily mind losing a recruit like this as much as I mind him playing for a team we can/will play against.

Back tracking to give the kids decision more of a surprise factor IMO.
