ARTICLE ALERT ON THE WIDE OUTS:

Croom is one of the more imposing wide receivers to be hauled in by any Vol coaching staff in recent history. At 6-feet-5, 220 pounds, the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl representative caught 34 balls for 688 yards and 10 TDs his final year at Norcross (Ga.) High under coach Keith Maloof.

"When you watch him play basketball — I got to see him play basketball — he's extremely powerful," Hinshaw said. "He's got to work on his jumpshot but the thing about Jason is that Jason has really good hands, really good catching ability and can use those limbs.

I sure hope he gets some significant playing time this fall, and not due to injuries to others. A 4-Wide set with Hunter, D. Rodgers, C. Patterson and the Croomster would make me keep a bottle of Maalox handy, if I were an opposing DC.

I can just imagine the play by play commentators gushing over the overwhelming amount of size at the WR position. The average DB is about 5'10."

Size DOES matter! Look at Britanny Griner (Baylor Women's BB Center). Sheer size allowed her to dominate opponents, even with persistent double-teams. Can't tell me Hinshaw and Chaney aren't licking their chops, waiting to throw jump balls to guys like Jason and Justin.

I think we are staying at a Hampton Inn. Google maps has a nice public transit feature and it mapped out a route for me. Thank you and everyone else that answered.
