Not surprising after all the injuries he has had this season & him deciding to stop playing to focus on his grades.

"Danville (Ky.) Boyle County linebacker Lamar Dawson (uncommitted) just missed the Rivals100 last time around, checking in at No. 101. This time around however the state's best player moved up to No. 54 thanks to a dominant senior season. Peterson recently checked him out in person."

In the chat they said that one current commit would move in to the 250, but you would have to wait until tomorrow. Worley?

And it's fairly safe to say they rate these players without having seen many or most of them play a game in person.

The NFL could use their help. They spent hundreds and possibly thousands of man hours to rate Ryan Leaf and Jamarcus Russell and missed terribly on both. Am I the only one who thinks the NFL can rate or rank players far better than Rivals or Scout? The remarkable thing is the NFL still misses on many players, even after seeing them compete for 3 or 4 years. But not Rivals...they know when the kids is barely through their junior year in high school they are going to be a superstar.

Tell me I'm not the only one who thinks these player ratings or rankings is a joke...
I don't think it's an error of scouting staffs. I think it's the arrogance of coaches and blissful ignorance of some GMs/Owners.

They (coaches) think they can take a guy with an enormous arm but little work ethic and turn him into an NFL MVP.

Devrin Young.

In reality, most likely Randolph, with Smith having an outside shot.
