"Right now, I'm getting pretty close," Wilkins said. "I want to get it done before the season starts. It might be done soon, or it might take a couple of weeks."
Jordan Wilkins claims a top three of Vanderbilt, Auburn and Tennessee.
"With Tennessee, they have a lot of tradition. Playing for them would be really big, they are SEC, it's in-state, so that's a big school right there. And they aren't too deep on running backs, so I feel I could play right away," Wilkins said.
"Vanderbilt, same thing. World-class education, they have a new coaching staff that's changing the whole program around. They have a great recruiting class. My brother is there and it's only three hours away, and it's an in-state school too.
"With Auburn, I love their coaching staff, I talk to them all the time. I'm real close with them. It's a big SEC school, they have a lot of tradition. And the running back position is open. I talk to coach (Curtis) Luper all the time, we talk almost every day. We have a good relationship. It's close between all three of them."

I have a feeling that Auburn is the top team but they are slowplaying. I have no sources, but I think they are gunning for others as well.

I believe he's gonna be a Vol. I think the longer this goes, the more ground we make up.

'll say right now, as the Hot Boards have already indicated, Auburn leads over Vanderbilt, with Tennessee currently in third.

Until he comes to campus I don't think he's going to commit to UT. IF he makes it to Knoxville before he commits I think we may get him.

I think if he wanted to go to Auburn he would not take the time to come to Tennessee again. What would he need to see if he knows in his mind that it is Auburn?

They are completely delusional with their picks and frankly unprofessional, IMO. They are supposed to post solid, useful information & facts, but they mostly just post wild guesses and hopes.
He could be right in this case, but most of the time he calls every prospect an "Auburn-lean". |
