Don't forget about Derrick Henry.

If we win enough games this year and we also show a good improvement in the running game we could definately flip Derrick Henry. Until he signs the LOI I think we can flip him.

I really like the way he runs. Makes defenders miss. He may not be our fastest back but still has break away speed. If we miss on Dye,Henry,Kamara I hope we can land this guy. Don't think the staff has him higher than those backs listed above

Agreed! Henry's recruiting has a Da'rick feel to it. IMO

Idk what's on VQ but 247 has an article on Hinshaw visiting him at school.
Before visiting Tennessee again, he’s expected to be evaluated by first-year Vols running backs coach Jay Graham. “They said Jay Graham, the running back coach, he’s going to come up here, I think, next week sometime to watch our spring practice and maybe our spring game Thursday,” said Wilkins, who recently was timed at 4.41 seconds in the 40-yard dash. “I’m not exactly sure what day he’ll be here, but he’s coming.

Also added that he's impressed with the number of players we put into the league. He's getting a lot of offers from a lot of schools

The Vols have made it clear to him over the past few days that he will be a high-priority target for them moving forward, and he said he’s naturally interested in Tennessee. - 247

Also picked up offer from Wisconsin & Texas Tech

A guy asked Carlos Younger if UT had a legit chance with Wilkins about 4 days ago and Younger replied,

Quote:
I dont think so...but it is good he is being receptive to the Vols...

It's good that they're making an attempt. Will still be difficult.

In the article on 247 Hinshaws visit caught him off guard. We havent been in contact with him much if at all in the last two months. Also said he's impressed with how UT gets players to the NFL, we may have a shot.

UT has a shot with anyone that they get on campus, but it would be a really hard pull, and a great job by the staff to get him to sign here. Anything is possible tho.

I agree with u. I he's trying to make it for a visit in July. I'm just curious as to where they fit Wilkins on the board at RB. If we only took two who would they want the most or if they would take a 3rd if they got commitments from the big name guys we're after. If we only landed two of them I'll still be jumping for joy.
