Shouldn't we be concerned?

We're on pace for the worst recruiting class within SEC rankings with a full coaching staff (2006 & 2008 at least could be attributed to massive coaching staff turnover) maybe since the days of Bill Battle. Why isn't this more of a glaring concern?

It's not far enough into the season yet.

It's still early....I think we'll finish with a top 20 class....I just don't see us getting anything better than that right now

Considering everyone we are in the top 3 to 4 for and lead for then I don't see how you can worry.

Big time players for

Gabe Wright
Mickey Johnson
AJ Johnson
Arnett
Dallas
Gosha
Bell
Christion Jones
Avery Walls
Derek King
Richardson
Clear

Trust me, this will be a top 15 class. And I will go out on a limb and say this will be the best recruiting class we've had in the last 5-7 years.

Another star-basher? Talent means a lot; star-system is a strong indication of talent (at least for me). Then I don't get it: why the stars mean nothing?

Cause all stars mean is your family can afford to send you to the football camps to get the stars......many players that would be so-called 5-star players dont even go to camps. Seen to many so-called 5-star players end up being 1-star duds!!

i know stars never predetermine how good a player will be, but isnt it ironic that the teams that win NCs are also the teams that have highly rated recruiting classes every year, which means alot of kids with alot of stars?

Maybe we should be concerned that you're concerned. How can they be any worse than going 5-7 with a top rated class?

This is not always true and your expecting a national title? What about rebuilding first? He's attracting the possition players we really need for depth. He starts winning, it will naturally pick up.

It's the third game of the season!
I agree with most on here that we'll have a good class, but not sure about top 10-15. If we win a few SEC games, like against the Gators, then recruiting will pick up also. Nothing like wins baby.
