| Most Frustrating Tennessee Loss You Remember? 2000 UT vs. UF
Tennessee has a lead late in the game 23-20 over Florida. Florida drives down in the red zone. Jesse Palmer throws a pass to Jabar Gaffney. Gaffney "catches" the ball, and it is almost immediately slapped away by a UT cornerback. Ref calls touchdown. Vols lose.
2003 (I think) UT vs. UGA
This one is hazy to me, someone clear it up. Tennessee fumbles/throws a pick late in the game and UGA takes it to the house to win. |

| Can only pick one? Oh, and the 2003 UGA game, that was at the end of the first half, UT was driving to take the lead then fumbled at the goal line, it was run back for a TD, then UT just fell apart after that.

| I intended this to be in the Tennessee Football forum, not the Recruiting forum. My mistake, could someone move it over? |

| Dec 31, 2009 loss to Virginia Tech. The most recent loss always bothers me. I really wanted this one badly. Being a Kingsport, TN native I grew up in close proximity to lots of Virginia Tech fans. We have always been able to claim dominance over them and now we cannot. |

| This year's Alabama game has to be pretty high up there.
SEC Championship against LSU is probably the ultimate one for me. (2001)

| I was only a youngster at the time...but didn't Tennessee lose Memphis in '95 because of a missed call on a guy returning a kickoff (The guy was down by an elbow IIRC)?
Oh and to comment on the 2000 FLA loss, If we have instant replay that isn't a catch. Not saying we win, but we certainly don't lose on that play because that "catch" would be overturned. |

| UCLA in Pasadena, 2008. My son and his wife met us there. We tailgated and talked much smack. Couldn't seem to kick a field goal to send it to OT. The beginning of the end of the Fulmer era; at first an apparent blessing, but at the cost of program integrity. I believe we have stumbled but not fallen... Lead us back to the ranks of the elite Coach Dooley!! |

| Florida in '06 when we had a 10 pt lead late in the 3rd quarter and Ainge does the gator chomp and we end up losing. That was also Florida's national championship season. And it was against Urban. Damn. |
