Meyer’s tears examined

Posted 10/17/2005

Urban Meyer’s post-game tears Saturday provided a rare glimpse at the coach’s psyche.

Morgan Scalley, who played for Meyer at Utah: “Crying and stuff like that, we didn’t see too much of that. I think the reason we didn’t is because we destroyed everyone that second year.”
Scalley: “If I was a fan and I saw that. I’m like, ‘Wow, he’s really into this deal, and that’s the kind of coach I want to have.’”
DE Joe Cohen: “You’ve gotta cry. That’s how we show how we care. We cry and tell each other we love each other.”

Fulmer might be fat, but even if Vandy blows us out by 40 hes not gonna cry

Florida won't even be invited to a bowl in their home state.

If I had staked my all on that gimmick offense of his, and was now seeing just how inept it is against good Ds, I'd cry too.

Give the poor guy a break.

He's in over his head with a QB who doesn't fit his system and no real hope of getting any better until he does get a threat at QB to run the ball.

I just wish we had that game back. Oh how I wish it.
