Without even reading the post I can say that I agree....numerous OCs....poor instruction....3 different systems.....he was put in a no win situation. To his credit he persevered and showed that he did have the ability to be a good QB and could have possibly been a great one under a different set of circumstances
I think your right on most of that Griff. It really feels like a very talented guy never got to realize his potential and most of it wasn't his fault. He was at UT at very tough time.
Crompton was screwed in the coaching side of things but you can't blame coaches for Crompton under throwing and over throwing receivers and making bad reads. Crompton failed himself...

I dont usually agree with most of your articles, but this one I liked. Crompton was a good kid, I have always supported him and only wished him the best. Its a shame he was treated so poorly by the fan base. Good luck in all of your future endeavors JC!
