| I do not understand why coaches stop recruiting with a fervor. Look at Kraigthorpe in Louisville, his class last year was ranked something like 58th. Our classes weren't all that far off in terms of ranking. I just don't understand, I mean how can a team be competitive with the rest of the sec with bad classes. Answer, they can't. |

| it still amazes me how much of a bust the 2005 class turned out to be for the most part.

| makes you wonder what the recruiting fans down in GA have been thinking the past couple years. i'm pretty sure CMR has never had a class outside the top 10 (correct me if i'm wrong) and aside from some nice post/pre season rankings the dogs haven't much to show for it since a couple SEC champs thanks to Mr. Zook and Phil.

That's why the Dawgs and their fans have pretty much had it with CMR, they've been soooooooooo over his OC & DC for a couple of years now. CMR is coming up on 10 years and hasn't made it to the big dance much less won it. Of all the SEC East head coaches with > 8 years of head coaching experience, he along with Vandy's Johnson and Kentucky's Brooks, have not played for much less won a national championship as an HC. He's right where his predecessor's have been after Vince Dooley, basically not competitive for a national championship. They won't be as long as he's there and frankly I hope UGA keeps Richt there forever. It just removes them from serious NC consideration as long as he remains. I actually sign into UGA comments areas sometimes using an alias and support CMR. |

Its also amazing how many walk-ons and 3* players did play up to potential and beyond. I mean where would we be without Dan and Rogan (listed as 3*). We know where we are at without Nick (walk-on). |

| I'd say with all of the youth that's going to be on this team next year, we're probably looking at another 7-5 or maybe even 6-6 season. We're losing a lot of leadership and experience!
Jonathan Crompton
Montario Hardesty
Eric Berry
Rico McCoy
Dan Williams
Wes Brown
Jacques McClendon
Josh McNeil
Chris Scott
Cody Sullins
Cory Sullins
Vladimir Richard
Quinton Handcock

| Also I haven't looked but I'm willing to bet that Kiffins 7-6, or 8-5 are both better than Nick Saban and Petey Carrol's first year records. Although they had similar depth/talent issues. So if we say that they had somewhat level playing fields coming in, then he exceeded their Rookie efforts and had to RESPECT wins on the road. (I don't believe in Moral V's either but I believe in Respect earning games.) Posted via VolNation Mobile |

Out of the 6 5*'s Kiffin recruited 2 of them. 2 of Fulmers' rarely played.
Out of 16 4*'s Kiffin recruited 6 of them. 3 of Kiffin's recruits redshirted. 1 of Fulmer's rarely played.
Out of 40 3*'s Kiffin recruited 9 of them. 5 of them redshirted. That means Fulmer recruited 31 of them. 21 out of that 31 played significantly this season.
Out of 3 2*'s Kiffin recruited 0. 2 of those are kickers. Our ST's sucked this year. 1 of them is supposedly going to end up pretty good.
So basically, Fulmer left us with a few good plays and the rest mediocre. To all of those people who will say that some 3*'s end up better. Well yeah, there is a whole lot more 3*'s to end up being better than there are 4*'s. There are only 250 players a year that are 4-5*'s. There are probably more than 500 (guess, maybe more) 3*'s.
So with this information it will prove to all of the Fulmerites that Fulmer really did leave the cupboard pretty bare and that Kiffin did a fantastic job with what he had. | Great read. |

Carroll 11-2 second year and Saban 12-2 last year . I know Saban had a returning qb in second season not sure about Carroll . Not having Crompton next season is going to hurt so I do not expect Tenn to win 9/10 games . I would think another 6-6 or 7-5 season is what we should expect until CLK has a qb for a couple years . |
