I love seeing pictures from that era and before. Those were the REAL TOUGH football players. NO facemasks. Even further back was the leather helmet. LOL. I cannot imagine how those guys felt back then after a game or even a hit. More power to them!

Not to be picky, but a chop block is when someone is engaged with the defender and ANOTHER person goes for the legs. Just going for the legs is a cut block. Chop blocks are illegal and I believe a 15 yard penalty. Auburn gets flagged for them a lot, they are primarily responsible for Glen Dorsey not being as dominant as he once was...
