had 1 more year at UT or would u rather see a new guy/recruit step in. The guy has taken his share of lumps from all of us & we have all called for his head at some point but kiffen has stuck with him & turned him into a baller. I think if he had 1 more year he would be an all time great at UT when not too long ago people were saying he has been the worst qb ever. I've happily ate my crow & glad to see the guy turn it around. Hes handled all criticism better than anybody else ever could.

Imagine if Crompton could have played in the same system for 4-5 years.

I think Tennessee would like to have him back for another year because next year they have either a true freshman or an unproven backup. It would be a big help if they could have him back another year and get the backup a little more ready. I think Tennessee will struggle at least early again next year because of this.

If by unproven backup you mean Nick Stephens... Pick Nick proved his worth just fine against Wyoming and Memphis. I'll take the freshman.

Agreed! It took this staff 4 1/2 5 games to have this kid playin lights out. Fatty and 30 different OC's couldnt do that in 4 years. I love this staff and wish JC was comin back for a 6th year!!

Wish the guy could have got the "Jonathan Crompton" chant going....he tried and tried. I think it would be awesome to hear the stadium chanting "Jon-athan Cromp-ton" after all the crap he has been through.

Stephens will be just fine. He has the arm. Leave it to our coaches to build a scheme around his strengths and to get his mind right
