Memphis didn't have a shot in this game and it was very obvious early on....It was good to see an overmatched team get dominated..The Tigers never were given a chance to get a foothold...They never got the opportunity to "hang around"....

It is playing to win. Kiffin obviously wanted to get up quick to get the backups meaningful time. Very logical to me. The game was never in doubt. Okay and don't even talk to me anymore dude. Anyone who would question our coaches in this game is uneducated. By the way UT class of '94. When did you graduate?

Kiffin's response to Tommy West joke: "I guess that dog bit back today, didn't it?"

Vols "D" gave up too many points. Didn't think that the Tigers would get over 17! Think Lane should have waited until the 4th quarter to put in Stephens and use some backups on "D." I'm sure Monty will have a talk with the defense after the game. I did understand why the change was made. The 2nd string QB needs some reps on the filed. Hope it will happen again in one of the last two but not sure. The Gators weren't able to blow Vandy out. Does that give us need to worry? The first string needs to play well the last 3 games of the season. I believe that the Vols need at least 28-35 points in each of the final 3 games to win.

My god people, we got the W, are 5-4 and got thru the game without any injuries. Does none of this matter to all you naysayers? Don't question the coaches, they know what they're doing. If anyone thinks they can do better, by all means send Mike Hamilton your resume and qualifications and see if you can get an interview.

There's a reason why the guys on the field in the 2nd half are backups. Nothing to worry about.

Perfect game. I have no problems with how the team played. By in large most of the defense we saw in most of the third and all of the 4th quarter last saw playing time in high school. You can usually slip 2-3 on the field at one time with seasoned upper classmen, but 11 at once will usually get scored upon.

Do any of you honestly believe that Memphis has a better offense than anyone we have played this year?

Eh, I'm not complaining. If LSU loses a couple more UT goes to a better bowl.
