Great post !! Coach PF did more for this program than any coach since the General, and yet so many "so called" vol fans trash this guy. Did he need to be replaced, Yes ! but the personal attacks make me sick !! I read those posts and think to myself, they have got to be closet bama fans because Tennessee fans have an IQ higher than their age. He was a winner, a class act, and a true vol. Maby the game did pass him by, but he EARNED respect, so give it to him or put on your bama hat !!!!

Sounds like you really enjoyed the interview. Just like old times. The bigger question is, if Fulmer takes the Memphis job would the KNS staff go with him? Only way they keep their "insider" status. If so, I am all for it.

If a coach leaves when he's on top, for a better job, fans say he didn't have loyalty.

If he leaves after a couple of bad seasons, he's accused of running a program into the ground.

If he leaves under the cloud of adversity, probations or personal problems, he's a disgrace.

And yet, I don't hear other former coaches getting trashed by their fans as much....

It's just kind of a weird deal from where I sit....

I like Fulmer a lot more.
