Pat Forde wrote the article, which, you are right, was not very complimentary of the unis. But Forde's article, like Forde himself, is insignificant. The webmaster (or whoever is in charge of web editorial) chose that photo as the front page, although Tennessee is just one of many schools mentioned. See, Tennessee is now news, evocative, a point of interest. This is the important part of the discussion.
Tennessee is relevant again - or, at least, on their way.
