Why are you a Vol fan?

I grew up in Middle Tn listening to games on the radio w/John Ward and watching the tape delays late at night in the late 70's and 80's before Cable TV was what it is today.

Just imagine all the kids growing up nowadays that get to catch Vol fever! It is exciting to know that it is a long tradition that will never stop.

The next season I went to my first game vs Cincinnatti, we won 40 - 0, my buddy and I partied for four days and when I came back from my holiday my boss fired me...it was worth every minute of it. Many seasons later I still get tears in my eyes when the drum major busts a highstep and the Vols explode through the T. When my time comes I'll leave one message for the world on my stone..."Give Him Six!!"

Wow!! Fired because of the Vols!! Now that's a story.
