I'm not all that enthused about Dunkley anyway, due to his size, or should I say lack thereof. He's in the same mold as Nuke, but honestly...I think we have enough short shifty slot WR's. We need the big guys that can use their size to dominate the smaller DB's in the league.

Slive thinks he's the sheriff, when in reality he's nothing more than an administrator. He's the Puppet of the AD's collectively, not the other way around.
CLK wasn't hired by Slive, and he won't be ordered around by him either. If Slive thinks he's got some pull, and tries to suspend Kiffin, all hell is going to break loose on him, just you watch. There are enough coaches and AD's that are stewing over this biased officiating, and I'm sure they'll be first in line to escort Slive's crusty arse out of town.

Don't get me wrong, I'm as excited as everyone else about the new staff and renewed energy, but please tell me you didn't just compare this kid to Carl Pickens.

With a better attitude, Pickens was a Heisman finalist.

For all we know this kid might be the next Chris Hannon or worse...Kenny O'Neal.

Not trying to burst your bubble, but let's be just a little bit realistic.

And FWIW, Donte was the best receiver that has suited up for UT this decade.

I personally would give that honor to Meachem

It's debatable I guess, but I really don't remember Donte stinking it up in 2000 the way Meachem did in 2005. Don't really remember Meachem doing much at all until 2006.

Bret Smith and Jayson Swain were much more productive than Meachem in 2004.

Also, go back and watch the highlights of the 2001 season. Donte was insane that year.

Meachem was great in '06, but we didn't win any big games that year other than the opener vs. Cal

thoughts?

With all the excitement Lane K. has created, he should clean up big in recruiting this year. Look for a top 5 class. With tebow gone next year, UT should win the SEC east and have a good shot at Bama or LSU for the SEC title.

I like the enthusiasm but don't forget that we're losing our superman on D (Eric Berry). As well as Crompton (never thought i would consider him graduating a loss). I love the new backs but Montario has carried this team at times and he won't be back. We're on the up and up....but next year might be pushing it
