I didn't like the jerseys until I saw them. Some people were saying we would don some kind of gray uni too. Who knows what to believe now. Where's the checkerboard pants? By the way, I told you guys that UGA had black britches, but the black helmets did surprise me.

Most people that said they didn't like them weren't complaining. They were just stating their opinion. No different than the people saying they liked them. Just throwing that out there for the people who are mad at others saying they thought they were ugly. They were.

plus uno. I think with white pants they could have worked. But they combination last night was pretty ugly. I don't think we have to worry about becoming the Oregon of the east as far as uniforms go though, this was a one time deal and we probably won't see it again till the next home Halloween game.

I'm not saying we need 50 diff jersey combinations like Oregon, but adding a little change once or twice a year is refreshing. It also gives ya something to talk about. I'm all for it.

CLK said the players had been askin for black uni's for months now and they thought a nite game on Halloween nite would be perfect. That was also why they chose orange pants cause of Halloween. He said Monte was really vocal to Mike Hamilton about letting them wear the black jersey's. CLK said its all about the players.

Most of which I find hideous. The silver on their jersey and the gray pants are some of the ugliest uniforms I've ever seen. They use like three shades of green, two shades of yellow, a mixture of gray/silver. Half the time the colors on top don't match the colors on bottom. They are so ugly in my opinion. - the smiley/puke is the same color as Oregon's unis.

This sends a powerful message that Tennessee listens to the players. We've heard that about the coaching staff all year and now we hear it about the administration. The impact on recruiting is hard to quantify, but the impact it had on the crowd when they came into Neyland was isn't. The place just went crazy!

I loved the jerseys and most people i have talked to liked them too. I liked the orange pants, but it would be cool ta see a black helmet with an orange T. I thought the black helmets Georgia wore yesterday looked good.

the next time we wear the black jerseys, I would like to see us wear our white pants... that combo would probably look a little better with our white helmets... But last night was halloween so its understandable they went with the orange pants...
