| The only thing that matters with the uniforms is that the players wanted them. Kiffin is a great motivator and these helped to fire his team up. At the end of the day who really cares what we are wearing when our defensive line was blowing them off the ball all night and we beat the h*ll out of a good team. |

I read somewhere that they wanted to have black pants too, but the company didn't have time to make them. Personally, I loved the jerseys and wouldn't be adverse to seeing them again in the future. |

| I never realized everyone was supposed to look attractive on Halloween. I thought part of the mystic of Halloween was to shock someone by your appearance. My bad.
I've been sitting in the same seats for nearly 50 years...and I loved the uniforms. Might have went with black helmets & orange T like has been suggested. This isn't what I want to see every Saturday, but yesterday wasn't every Saturday by any stretch! |

| I'll say it again...once a year is ok, anymore than that is overkill, and I would definitely not like it if there was any kind of push to pull what Oklahoma St. did at one point, and that's make the black jerseys the full time jerseys. And don't touch the freakin' helmet. Black pants, fine (only with the black jersey though). |

| I've heard most people say that they would have preferred the black pants to be worn too. Personally, I don't think the ensemble could've been done better. I think black jerseys with the orange pants was perfect. I don't want to see the jerseys become an annual thing though.

| I hope the black jersyes are availible for next years edition of NCAA Football(video game). As crazy as it sounds, it couldn't hurt in recruiting.

| I think for the most part people are not bashing people because of there opinion. When these old farts start leaving a football game and start cring "its not tradition vols colors or not black wah wah wah." Those are the ones' that are being childish and immature. There the same ones' that are still cring about fulmer,he 's gone period ,get over it! Tennessee tradition is bigger than any one person, CLK is not tring to change it either! Like he said "it's a players game and it helps with recruiting. " If it helps get us great players then what are we whinning about? It was a halloween night game,it was susposed to be something fun. So take your tampons out and start enjoying the ride. GO VOLS!!!!!!!! |

If you can't handle someones opinion on apparel then I don't know what to tell you. Sorry that I don't follow the herd. I like to think for myself.
And, I am not even old. I am 23. I didn't dislike them because of Tennessee's history and tradition. I disliked them because white helmet, black jersey and orange pants are a hideous combo.
Sorry for being a hater. I guess I will shut up now because some people on here seem to think there is such a thing as a correct opinion and you have to believe it just because they do. | I live, as you might guess, in Florida. Even UF fans were talking about how good the uniforms looked. |

| Man, there are some sensitive folks on this forum. Can you not take someone disagreeing with you? I spoke the truth, so that makes me a bigot. I cant help that! I did not like the uniforms and I am 36. Age doesnt matter. As for the people talking about the crowd going crazy when they ran out. What made it different than any another time the team runs out of the T? Did your ears detect that subtle change in decible level from the other games attended when they ran out in Orange and White? As for the people that dont like my opinion, GTH!!! I wasnt put on this earth to make you happy.

| The orange on the black jerseys seem to make the numbers stand out better, making them easier to read. |

I wasnt put on this earth to make you happy. | The noise wasnt what changed as far as reaction goes, it was the visual reaction...I saw their faces when the black appeared in the tunnel, it was like the president appeared or something, everyone pointing, eyes all big, mouths in the shape of O's...thats a different reaction than the yelling that goes on during anyother run thru the T. IMHO. |

| Man who really cares what color jersey they wore. If it helped motivate the players or helped in recruiting I could care less if they came out in pink and violet. The only real tradition this over 40 geezer cares about is the winning tradition. |
