| For all of those... Who said they will have to wait until the USCjr game to pass judgement on whether or not Crompton has turned the corner, what do you think?
12-24, 142yds, 2 TDs and 0 INTs
No its not Sportcenter stats but he definately didn't play bad considering USCjr's pass defense. So what do you think? I say we have us a decent QB.

| Agreed. I will publicly admit I was wrong about the guy and give credit where credit is due. He and the rest of the offense seem to be somewhat on the same page. |

| he is a really good QB some of the time. i dont wont to start a fight by saying this, but i always feel like he could just fall apart at any time. just something about his attitude that i have a hard time putting to much faith into him. hes had a stretch of good games and hope he continues |

I think that with last season and the miscommunications on the offense of this year, I'm just a tad bit gun shy. But I honestly think the guy is getting it together. CLK had enough faith in him to keep him in and that says a lot. |

| Crompton has turned the corner starting the week before the UGA game. I think he has a better perspective on life and that it is alot more than football. |

| Against a very stout USCjr Secondary, I will take it. Good game management.

| I just want to know, what in God's name happened to this kid in the past few games? Did a light switch turn on? WTF? Who cares, right? I guess Kiffin is as good of a coach as he says he is.

| He has played very well against some of the better defenses in the nation. His numbers were modest, but against those defenses i'll take it. Crompton is Lane's poster child that says "come play for me". It's the best story going for the Vols this year. I'll admit i didn't think he was ever going to make a serviceable QB. I was proved wrong and will gladly eat my crow.

| He faces 3 more top 20 NCAA pass defenses against Ole Miss, Kentucky, and Vanderbilt but I believe that's because they allow so much on the ground teams tend not to throw it. |

| Kiffin calls the game to be played with Crompton's abilities. That's what should've happened last year. They never got there.
