The running game will suffer behind a bad line

No Eric Berry

Lose our Top 2 DT's

Expect a 7 or 8 win season next year but I expect two years from now to be the breakout year
Bray?

Being number 2 in the SECE would mean more if the East didn't suck so bad.

I think this is why they are going after JC offensive linemen!

If Stephens is the starter next year, it seriously hurts the chances for UT to make a run in 2011.

I'm not sure next year is lost. UF will be down, and if UT beats them I think they can play in Atlanta. It certainly won't be South Carolina, right?

But, but...next year is their year!

Seriously, I expect a similar year next year. Remember, we have to play Oregon, and at LSU. Two tough games. BUT I am expecting to win more than 1 out of the big 3.

8 wins, +/- 1

Next year may be tough. We are going to lose our entire offense. Good time to go out and play Oregon (jeesh)!

So if bama looses to LSU, they end up in the same place as us for all practical reasons, second in their division, watching the SEC championship game from home. That would be poetic justice!

Oregon win or lose is not an SEC loss next year. Our Oline will have Douglas and Shaw coming back. Douglas is likely to be the LT. We have Thomas, Brimfield, Schoefeld, Revis and others here already. We will have a JC Olinemen as well. Does anyone one really think those guys are less talented and less capable then the Sullins? I mean I would think anyone who actually thought that had never played football (cheap but felt good). Not to mention we have Fulton and likely two other highly talented Freshmen guys coming in. I see no way we are worse on Oline then this year. And we are OK this year. Bama and UF are at home next year. UGA is UGA it does not really matter where we play them.

LSU and our QB spot are the only things that are worrisome in regards to improvement next year. If Bray or someone else can play adequately we will improve by 2 wins as our D will just be plain nasty next year. UF is likely to lose 2-3 games next year so that puts us right in the mix. JMO but no reason to believe next year is a building year as of now.

There are feelers Stephens may not be there next season. I mean why did Kiffin continue to play Crompton and let Hardesty sit once the win was preserved?

Trying to break in a true freshman in the SEC behind a rebuilt line could mess up the freshman mentally for his career and get him hurt.

Why all the concerns about the offensive line? The coaches have proven they can coach that position. We have 2 walkons and a converted tight end playing in the line now and they are looking better than any line that we have had in recent years.
