If Kiffin and Co work out I'd say he will be compensated nicely as well

If anything, he should pay back UT for all the money he gave away in Fulmer's last contract extension.

Note to self. Do not apologize to anyone on this board especially for an honest mistake.

What has he done to deserve a raise? Isn't he just doing what he is supposed to do for all the money he makes?

Really?

I'd wager you aren't responsible for much at work.

People normally get raises every year. Hamilton hasn't done anything not to deserve one.

Fulmer's last contract, where he would get an automatic extension/raise/whatever by winning 8 games begs to differ.

He was rewarding and enabling mediocrity.

That's a contract Rich Brooks should have at UK.

Doesn't a raise mean you are doing better than expected, or better than the year before??? I'm confused.

I know he has done a lot of good things for the university, but I think nearly doubling his salary is completely unjustified. It's not like he's a coach and needs a new salary or a retention bonus to keep him from jumping to another gig. It doesn't make any sense to me with the athletic department cutting costs across the board to do this right now.
