I had been awake for nearly 30 hours at that time and was so thrilled and overwhelmed at becoming a dad that the game didn't seem too important that day). | forgot about that one. we win that game if ainge doesn't get injured.

| One that has not been mentioned 1990 Auburn game we had control of that one and let it slip away it was a tie but like bama 93 felt like a loss.I'll always remember the kicker missing a last sec fg to win and one of the other players throwing a wadded paper cup at him as the special teams came off the field.

| Also the damn Outback bowl Jan. 2007 against Penna State.
Not only was I hungover as shiiiii* at the 11AM start and sick and tired of listening to the yankee PST. fans all game, it starts pissing rain right as Arian Fumble cements his lore even more in TN football history.
BLEEECH.

| Those of you listing the 2006 Florida game are making me LQTM. You were lucky to even be in it at the end, Florida dominated the lines of srcimmage and anyone remotely objective could see that the game was not nearly as close as the score.

It was every bit as close as the score said it was. |

| The worst in person....1996 Memphis.
The worst overall has to be 2001 SEC Championship. Prior to the Florida game most were just hoping beyond hope UT could beat UF. After they did it, then we had a series of upsets that put us squarely in line for the trip to the Rose Bowl. Even after 1 half, it looked good. Then we choked it away. In fact the 2001 season ends up being a big what if type season. If we don't let Georgia march down and win in about 20 seconds and we don't forget to show up in the second half of the SEC Championship, then we roll into the Rose Bowl undefeated. Miami would have still been the favorite but we sure would have done a lot better than Nebraska. |
