| Vols ranked 6th in SEC for recruiting class CSS has rated the SEC recruiting classes as they now stand and are being projected.
1. LSU
2. Florida
3. Bama
t. Georgia
5. USCe
6. Vols
They only ranked the top 6. CSS also says LSU, FL and Bama may be 1-2-3 in the country.

| Why any kid would want to play for Les brains is beyond me. Must promise them nice rides and plenty of girls, partys. It makes me wonder how he keeps a straight face when he tells some kid he'll get good coaching at LSU. What a salesman Les must be.

| CSS attributes his ability to have locked-up Louisiana from the other SEC schools.

| Miles is a hell of a recruiter. How? Beats the hell out of me. He seems to have a weird personality.
But it helps to have a staff full of pretty good recruiters. |

| Either that dude can sell ice to Eskimos.... or LSU has some shady stuff going on. Just about every damn player in the UA game had LSU in their top 5...I am of course partial, but I just cant see wanting to play for Les Miles over the likes of Mack Brown, Stoops, Tressel..... Kiffin |

He won at least 11 games in his first three seasons playing in the SEC c'ship twice and winning a national championship in 07. Though he had a down year in 08, he was playing a freshman QB in the toughest conferernce. Like him or not he is a darn good coach.......just ask Bob Stoops! |

I would gladly have a team of all star players if we could actually get our guys playing above their potential again, its been too long since that happened consistently. |

Now it's going to be all on him, win or lose. |

| Recruiting trends baffle me. It seems like we are not even a consideration for the ultra hot prospects anymore. Why?
I am starting to think the sports media may have something to do with this. At least with the bammers, the saban hire was so widely reported on that they got a ton of PR.
Not to mention that saban has been made to be the "hot and sexy" coach to play for. |

Something is weird about that. |
