| LSU Fan's Response Quote: | I decided that Tenne$$ee would be the best fit for me | Quote:
I am going to miss what he would have brought in enthusiasm to the sideline, but the same baggage that has followed him thus far and through this process is evident.
I really don't like the Sexton games and manipulation, and I lose respect for those that play it. I feel the same with Boras.
This move will play out like Saban's to Miami, IMO. His family won't be happy, and the DC title they probably dangled for the future will not come to fruition.
| Quote: | If this sounds like sour grapes, I am a little disappointed, but having him on staff was a risky move, especially at the salary figures that have been thrown around. | Quote: | I think LSU should ban dealing with anyone associated with Sexton. | Quote: | O, well! Kiffen is the worst hire in SEC this year. No body on sports radio liked it, and no one thinks he will survive. We will see. I guess staying at home no as important to him as his buddies thought. | Quote: | I know he may have been a good recruiter but he was gonna leave in a year anyway. Kiffen be gone in 3 years. "O" burns another bridge. He goes to UTenn where they will be behind Fla and Georgia. TIGER BAIT TIGER BAIT | Quote: | Sooner or later....you have to come home! Make sure that you have a home to come home to! This goes for everyone who thinks about disrespecting LSU!!!!!!!!!!!! | Quote: | For what it's worth...Monte kiffin is overrated | Quote: | .frick Ogeron I cant believe so many guys are sweating this dumbarse. Obviously all that crap about him wanting to stay in La was just a ploy by him and Jimmy "sleazy" Sexton. He aint bigger than LSU and Knoxville aint Los Angeles. I will take Miles Chavis and Crowton any day. Besides am sure now Miles and Chavis will want to shove it up UT's arse and break it off. I didnt want that backwards arse idiot representing LSU anyway. If he wants to play games he can go with the hillbillies. He was a quitter when he came to LSU in 79 and once a quitter always a quitter in my book. frick him we dont need him LSU has been around a lot longer than Ed fricking Ogeron and done just fine. I dont care if we hear about him ever again. Good riddance now lets go get a DL coach who can actually speak the english language!!!!!! | Quote: | Monte Kiffin and O will ruin the Tennessee defense, the Tampa Two will NOT work on the college level, it takes a unique blend of athletes to run...when facing similar talent. | Quote: | Say what you want, but Yaw Yaw Orgeron would've helped us alot on the recruiting trails. He's a warrior on the trails. Don't know if Chevis is willing to get after it like Yaw Yaw is...as far as the D-Line though, I agree we can find someone just as good. However, they don't make many recruiters like Coach O... | Quote: | So what! He couldn't make it as a player in the SEC or at LSU. He couldn't make it as a coach in the SEC. Why the hell do we care about this muscle bound idiot. Screw him. Look at what he is missing out on. Kiffin won't last 4 seasons at UT and I predicet that Yaw Yaw won't last 2. | Quote: | Lane Kiffen is a yellow shi**ing Daddy's boy who needs Pappa to teach him what to do. | Quote: | In terms of recruiting, Tiger Stadium versus the "erector set" |
Quote: | I think he made a mistake going to Tennessee. Kiffin is definitely not the answer and this will be played out over the next couple of years. We have a lot more to fear from the following coaching staffs Alabama, Auburn (with Malzahn), Florida, Georgia, Arkansas. The Tennessee staff has one good very old coach and probably Lane Kiffin will be fired in 3 years. Coach O will be looking again in a few years for new job IMHO. | hahahahahahahahahahaha

| When people hate you/throw stones at you, it's because you are a good team or they are scared you will be one. No one is taking time to pile on Vandy/Kentucky. I love that other fans hate us. I hope they hate us even more as we pile up wins over the next few years. |

| This was a classic case of the mentality of "he's [awesome/a savior] when we're getting him and he [sucks / is worthless] when he chooses somewhere else.
This attitude is widespread amongst college football fans in regards to coaches & especially recruits. I have see this on the Vol Nation board PLENTY. (i.e. Jarvis Giles & that QB going to Stanford).
That being said, I think the LSU fans are worse than most about it. I was glancing at their board a couple nights ago when we thought Coach O was going to LSU. All they could say was how dominant it was going to make their defense & recruiting & how we were morons for not getting him.
Had to change their tune real quick.....(and I'm glad we have him!) |

| Most Tiger fans I know are good guys and gals. These posters are flat out the bottom dwellers. Funny how the perspectives change regarding a coach when the news changes. Posted via VolNation Mobile |

| I got a few chuckles out of reading TigerDroppings last night. Funny how they were calling us out for some of the things that we said last night, and the same people were repeating the behavior over there. I do love the fact that we kept it classy and didn't invade their board like they did ours. I will enjoy beating them a little more each time it happens just because of that. The only UT posters I saw over there had been there much longer than the duration of the Orgeron situation. |
