| 2009 Games - Auburn or Georgia? Hey Vol Nation,
I'm a Sooner fan, but my wife and I also love SEC football. I'm planning an anniversary/birthday trip to Gatlinburg and plan to line it up with one of the Vols' home games.
Here are a few questions:
1. Which would be better to shoot for: Auburn or Georgia? (edit: 5 votes for UGA...thanks!)
2. What are the chances of grabbing two tickets (for a reasonable price) for either of these games outside the stadium? (edit: 2 say fairly easy)
3. Or, should I plan to be there for the season opener?
Here's to hoping you can help a Sooner out!
Edit: It looks like I'm going to book my flight to Knoxville to be there for the Georgia game!
Thanks in advance!

| IMO, the UGA game would be a better choice. It is a more intense rivarly. Tickets are a easy find. I usually just scalp them on the strip the day of the game. Stubhub also is a good place, or just watching on this board when the games get closer.

| If you really love her, you'll take her to both since they are back to back weekends.

good chance. Prices will decline as kick-off approaches but don't wait too long, you want to be in your seats for the pregame.
3. Or, should i plan to be there for the season opener? even though the opener is with w ky and tickets would normally be easier to get, it is hard to say since this will be the debut of the kiffins. I would wait and see a match-up of sec rivals (au or ga).
here's to hoping you can help a sooner out!
Thanks in advance! | imo |

Unfortunately, I'm gonna have to limit our time away from out little kiddos. Thanks, though! |

| I think the Georgia game as well....also you would try Ebay. Although they are sometimes high. I got tickets for the Miss St game very reasonable and had very good seats! |

| Georgia games are always fun to go to. It is easy to find tickets as well, even if it's from one of the many scalpers on gameday. |

| Oh, yeah, kiddos. I totally understand that!
Well then, I agree with everybody else, GA definitely! That rivalry is fun and the GA fans I've come across at Neyland have been great.
