| Higgins is a moron I don't have the link because I'm on my phone but he has an article on govolsxtra blasting Hamilton and Kiffin. The title of his article should have been "I love Phillip Fulmer!" http://www.govolsxtra.com/news/2008/...s/?partner=RSS

Their only objective is to create controversy and sell copy and boost ad revenue.
I hope to see the day when the KNS will be bankrupt and out of business. |

Kiffin has never accomplished anything as a head coach. All his rep comes from his time as Southern Cal's supposed offensive coordinator in 2005 and 2006, but USC didn't win the national titles in those years as it did the previous two seasons.
Also, play-calling was shared with quarterbacks coach Steve Sarkisian, with USC head coach Pete Carroll having veto power.
So just how brilliant is the boy wonder Kiffin? Consider that the University of Washington, a Pac-10 school, has an opening, and they haven't even given Kiffin, someone who knows the league, a sniff.
Sticking Kiffin in the SEC's all-star lineup of coaches that includes four coaches who have won national championships (Nick Saban, Steve Spurrier, Les Miles, Urban Meyer) and another with an unbeaten season (Auburn's Tommy Tuberville) would be like tossing a goldfish into a pool of piranhas.

Again you are wrong. |

Higgins needs to stick to being the welfare version of that idiot Tony Barnhardt. Sucking up to redneck rube coaches is his long suit. Actual reporting, not so much. Posted via VolNation Mobile |

Meyer before coming to the SEC -- 4 years of HC experience (2-0 in bowls)
Tuberville before being hired at Auburn -- 4 years HC experience with a 25-20 record (1-0 in bowls)
Spurrier before coming to the SEC -- 3 years HC experience with a 20-13-1 record (0-1 in bowls)
Miles before coming to the SEC -- 4 years HC experience with a 28-21 record (1-2 in bowls)
What a bunch of behemoths these schools hired at the time!

That's not the case with most of those guys. Higgins is another hick who liked having Fulmer around because they are intellectual equivalents. Posted via VolNation Mobile |

| | Cheap Labor | Seriously, how do you write a diatribe like that and then mention Mike Leach in the same sentence as Butch Davis? Quote:
So if I'm Hamilton, I'd make either Texas Tech's Mike Leach or North Carolina's Butch Davis write in blood that they wouldn't want to coach Tennessee before giving up on them.
They are the type of innovative and proven coaches Tennessee deserves, not a 33-year-old who supposedly wants to hire (are you ready?) old USC staff coaching pal Orgeron.
| What has Leach proven other than he can create stat monster QB's that throw it too much and finish 3rd in the Big 12 South every year?

Well-played Ohio Vol! Eventually, SOJ will submit. In the meantime, just keep hammering him. His anti-Kiffin diatribe is getting old fast. |

| I should also point out that Tuberville's prior experience was at Ole Miss, so I guess his HC experience before the SEC was 0. |

| These are the same writers that when we win start to have a successful season next year (8-9) wins , they will all praise Kiffin for the turnaround. |
