Apparently you do not recall how Fulmer wrestled the reins from Majors has he layed in a hospital bed with a bad ticker. Karma is a boomerang and Phil got content and lost his passion and desire for winning after he won the NC.

He "wrestled" the reins away as he lay in a hospital bed? Negavols always amaze me.

you're crazy if you think those kids will follow him to a terrible program when they have offers from other SEC schools.

Fulmerites vs Negavols. It's like Transformers...only different.

Out of curiosity, what is your version of events?

I do not have a version. I have heard multiple versions, but have never seen definitive proof. If you have, I stand corrected.

So in other words, “I don’t know the story, I am just going to carry Fulmer’s jock to the very end” (and probably beyond).

I am being honest. I have heard a dozen different stories, but they were never backed up with facts. As far as your other comment-real class.

Don’t mean to offend. I have read your post for months. If I have mischaracterized you, please correct me.

You are correct. I am a fan of Coach Fulmer. In the same way as I am a Vol fan win or lose. The personal attacks on him are something I do not think is right. Again, if there are facts to back up the Majors story, let's hear it. Just to throw something out there isn't right. And then to throw an insult my way-why?

Why? Would anything that anyone ever posted on an internet message board change your mind?

You cannot be both, as those two paths diverge starting at the end of 2001.

Since you defend Fulmer to this day, you are a Fulmerite, and thus not a Vol fan. You value one person above the program. Then again, by your own words, you're a "Vol fan win or lose". You had to say that, being a Fulmerite. No other choice.

I'm not for personal attacks of Fulmer, either, but I'm not lodged up his butt. His time has come, and gone. Get used to it, and get over it. It has nothing to do with Majors. Fulmer's record was his undoing.

It's that simple. For you to defend Fulmer, at this point, is akin to defending the captain of the Titanic.

The ship has sunk, hoss. You cannot make it float again.

Go Vols.
