The guy didn't win 75% of his games for no reason. With the right situation, right school, and with a decent group of assistants there is no reason to think Fulmer couldn't coach another team into a BCS game or even a championship game. Fulmer might not have been able to keep up with the SEC this year (I do think he could have gotten the team better next year), but even if ya say he couldn't keep up in the SEC, other conferences without a gauntlet of coaches and teams, He can succeed and likely will. So quit hating on Fulmer. Yal got your way, he's leaving town, now get a life and move on. |
Well stated. |

Time will tell. I think politics as much as anything else will make Clemson look for someone other than Tubberville. |

| Fulmer wants the job...he had Sexton contact Terry Don Phillips to alert him of Phil's interest.
Apparently, out of respect for Fulmer, TDP indicated he'd be receptive to exploring Fulmer's candidacy. Clemson has no genuine interest in Fulmer at this point...they're just being polite. |
