I made these changes because my storm wasn't rendering. This one is actually the skin that we use for the iphone and I thought I'd try it out. It works fine on the storm but just wanted to be sure there aren't any other side effects on other devices.
The font isn't smaller on my storm.
I will probably scrap the ads on the mobile page. Just something I was toying with and it doesn't appear to be worthwhile.
The ads aren't bad, I don't even notice them now-something has to pay for the bandwidth around here!
The mobile version is one of my favorite features also.
Freak, I too have a Storm, and other Blackberries before this latest (bada**) version.
I've noticed that some threads show a page directory (i.e. <1 2 3 Last) at the bottom, while others with mutiple pages do not, regardless of which Blackberry I may be using.
Is this just a quirk with the mobile site, or is my Storm the more likely culprit?

Personally, I love it far more than any of the previous BBerry models combined. It has some of the nuanic quirks that you'd expect with a first edition (i.e. need updating more often, things located in a different place, etc.), but they are far and away both small and infrequent issues to deal with.
The "click" interface is sweet, especially for websites and things of that nature, as is the new ability to type in both QWERTY and SureType styles.

I haven't noticed this. Next time you think about it, send me a link to an offending thread that doesn't have the directory at the bottom and I will look into it.

I'd definitely recommend it.
I hated mine and had to return it. It was fun to play with, but for business use it was just too quirky and laggy. I felt like I was always waiting for the screen to flip back to the proper orientation. The iphone is much smoother.
It also took too many step to do things. No dialing from the home screen and having to tap an icon to enter keypad mode are just two examples.
I went back to my 8830 and with the exception of the multimedia (camera, screen, etc.), I haven't missed anything about the storm.
Just signed up and can't wait to get to know other rabid yet intelligent Vol worshippers. I have a son named Peyton and a son named Knox (yes, Kiffin stole the name from us) and life wouldn't be worth living without the University of Tennessee. God Bless the Vols!!
