I want Gruden just as much as the next guy but according to Hyams here in this article it seems like it is a forgone conclusion that we don't get him.

Gruden's contract in Tampa?
On Buc's message board it mentioned UT as a place Gruden could leave for and get out of his contract with Tampa. Anyone know if this is accurate.

I know, I know, He isn't coming. But if this is true? Who knows.

another thing on the money issue that hasn't been mentioned is that bristol motor speedway is offering us and va tech a ton of money to play a game there.

I wouldnt pay much attention to him. Most media has done very little research concering the UT coaching search.They repeat what others have said. I would say the people on this board knows more on whats going on at UT than than someone rushing to meet a deadline.

I have a sneaky suspicion that Gruden is out next coach. If this coaching search goes through mid december, then it will be obvious that Gruden is our guy.
