The guy was patient enough to have success with personalities like Keyshawn Johnson, Warren Sapp, and Simeon Rice on the roster.

Gruden may not be the most patient guy out there, but I don't think he needs to change that in order to be successful at the college level.
Good post. I hope you are right. I have no doubt Gruden will bring discipline to this program which I believe is something that has been lacking for some time. It is no secret Gruden will not put up with any crap. Hopefully he can surround himself with great assistants wgi are good recruiters. I do believe the fact he has lots of history as a coach in the NFL and he knows what it takes to play at the level will bring in some recruits in itself.

There was a thread on scout.com saying "I just talked to Jon Gruden's mother-in-law.
", but it doesn't say anything like "Gruden soon to be the coach of the Vols"
