| Everybody who is not interested has dismissed the rumors within a day. And don't you think that if he wasn't interested, that he would add fuel to the fire by showing up in Kville all weekend (family or not)?
This story is about to explode. If he don't dismiss this within 48 hours then I say we get him. |

Florida was about to play for the national title with the rumors swirling, and the fact that he hadn't denied them in that situation made me sure he was leaving.

I don't know that Gruden needs to do that considering the payday he is getting from Tampa on his last extension. I have no doubt that he will at least listen to us, but that doesn't translate into him actually accepting the job. I really can't see Gruden coming to Tennessee, but stranger things have happened (see: Nick Saban). |

Saban wasn't nearly as good of a pro coach as Gruden has been.

| Unless you are referring to him denying that he was leaving.

| You gotta figure its not really about the money for this guy anymore, hes loaded, and he wont take a large paycut if we get him, I for one know i would rather take a pay cut and be an iconic coach in the SEC where my players respect and look up to me and where i would have absolute power. A lot of Tampa fans want Gruden gone and you know getting respect from his players is a hard thing to do when they make 2.5x more money than he does. |

Saban is an unusual case, but is sort of representative of the "stranger things have happened" idea. I tend to agree with most people here in that I am fairly sure Gruden isn't going to leave Tampa. |

| Woody Paige Just Guaranteed Jon Gruden I don't post much, I usually just read what everyone has to say. I post on Volchat and OM.
I was watching Around The Horn and the Jon Gruden to Tennessee discussion came up. The other 3 guys shot it down, and Woody Paige said he has talke to his "people" at Tennessee and he said "I guarantee Jon Gruden is the next coach at The University of Tennessee." He said the have land in East Tennessee and his wife is from ther and still has family there and they want to raise there 3 children there. |

| Woody is also a big UT fan. I didn't watch that, but the discussion on PTI seemed more sensible.
