Hmmm? | Being a NFL head coach is harder than being a College Football coach. Recruiting is hard, but it doesn't make it tougher than the NFL.

| Bill Cowher will never coach here. Never.
Gruden is 1000x more likely, and even I don't think Gruden will come here. As others have repeatedly pointed out, he has no rational reason for doing so. |

| A friend of mine is both a Vol and a Tampa Bay fan, and he claims that the Glazer ownership is supposedly so annoying that he can see why Gruden would want to get out. I know nothing whatsoever about this; I'm merely passing on what he said.
I can see why Gruden might regard Tennessee as a cool job to finish out his coaching career after he's burned out on the cauldron of the NFL. I can't see why he would walk away from a good NFL job while he's still young and doing well. |

Seriously though, it would be great if we could get him.

Working long hours is one thing (which you have to do in either job) but dealing with high school egos is another altogether. By the way, explain why being an NFL coach is harder. |

Bill Parcells once said, being an NFL Head Coach is like being a chef who must cook a great meal, but has no say in the ingredients.
Another reason, look at all the NFL failures who have dominated the College game.

| If I were a college head coach I would hire Erin Andrews as Head of Recruiting. |

Point still remains, you don't have to go get your players, much less high school children. I don't understand what you don't get about that. And maybe Parcells had no say in the ingedients was because he couldn't evaluate talent, just yell and intimidate. Oh yeah, college coaches are expected to teach the game as well.
