If Cowher is interested in the job, he'll have to just come out and say it. It's not like he can't find airtime this weekend.

If he does that this will all be overly fairly quickly.

If he doesn't, since we've got folks like Cutcliffe saying they're not interested, I don't know if we'd even contact him--under the assumption there's just no way.

The ad at the bottom of the article says the average Raiders fan IQ is 140. Right...

Kiffin is being courted.....

I think Kiffin is probably being interviewed by everyone who has already fired their head coach. Of course he will listen to what they have to say. In the end if we can't get a Home Run Coach and we want to settle on Kiffin he will certainly be able to bargain for more $$$$$$. If we don't offer Kiffin, he can get more $$$$$$ from others by saying we want him.

Looks like the homerun hitters are not intrested. Davis, Gruden and Cowher. Perhaps they are a suprise coach out there. I have not gotten excited at all with the rest of the possibilties that has been mentioned. I would hate to go thru a change like Bama did and get a new coach every few years. I really dont think with the boosters we have and attendance that money would be an issue.

People need to understand that UT is NOT a great job. Very good, but not great.

terrible state to recruit in, SEC, Ga, Ala, Fla, and La are locked up in recruiting for the most part. this is not a Texas or USC. No BIG name guys are going to crap themselves about the UT job. Kiffin or Turner Gill. Take either one and move on.
