Weakest of all the possible choices. Thinnest of all the resumes out there. You wouldn't know his name if it wasn't for his dad.

This argument fails in the face of anyone else on the "list".

He may be the only one on the list that UT can get! How sad is that. He is young, full of energy, has the background/family, connections, good recruitor.....

you being from Murfreesboro...I like Stockstill. I think he will get a really good job in the next couple years.

I also like what he can bring with him if they decide to hire him.

Yeah...he's a likeable guy, and a good coach. Not ready for primetime yet however.

Then you haven't seen Petersen, Leach, or most of the other guys not named Gruden or Davis.

Yeah....I have. Your sarcasm isn't lost on me however.

Please explain to me how losing seasons @ MTSU compare favorably to what any of those guys have done.

Did anyone else see the video of Gruden addressing the rumors? He was looking down most the time, you could tell he was real uncomfterable talking about it. I just wonder why such a out spoken guy had his head down lookin at the floor and mumbling when addressing the subject. I saw it on nfl.com.

Gruden maybe waiting out the season. If the team knew he was courting another job would they play like they have been this year. I'm sure the owners are wanting no distractions right now.

I just watched the video of Gruden so called rejection to come to tennessee. Is it me or did that seem lame. It's like getting that ugly sweater from your grandmother and telling her it's great and you love it but deep down you would'nt let your dog sleep on it. I think he wants to leave but the higher ups are holding on to him by contract.

I wasn't aware that Kiffin has ever coached at MTSU

He hasn't. I thought you were referring to Stockstill. Apparently you weren't.

That is what I get for making two points at once.

That's a good analogy. You should write this stuff down.
