| Regardless, TB doesn't win a playoff game again this year and he won't be the coach in TB in 3 years. It was good knowing you. You better quit worrying about the delusional UT fans and worry about finding a new D coordinator, QB, feature RB, and at least one legitimate WR. Well maybe not a feature RB, I'm sure you guys could bring back Alstott and move Ernest Graham back to RB. I heard the Notre Dame job may come open soon so I would also start checking their boards. Have fun slipping in the NFC south. |

| Here is what Paul Zimmerman (Dr. Z) of SI.com wrote in his weekly power rankings:
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-3)
Headline on Buccaneers Web site: Gruden dismisses rumors that he's going to the U. of Tennessee. Dismiss, dismiss dismiss. We'll meet again at the next recess period. Where have I heard all this before? Just substitute the names and the schools. Nick Saban dismisses Alabama rumors, Bobby Petrino dismisses Arkansas, Al Groh dismisses Virginia, going way back to Ray Perkins dismisses Alabama. What ever happened to the sanctity of a contract? Of the American home? Of girls with glasses? SI.com's NFL Power Rankings, Week 11 - Dr. Z - SI.com
Maybe there's more to this than we all know. |

| There is a big difference between the level of success Saban was enjoying (or rather, not enjoying) with the dolphins, and what Gruden has in Tampa. Just something to keep in mind when comparing the two. |

| God I could wish this is a smokescreen and he rolls into Knoxville, but I think he would implode in the college game ... |

| Whoever said that Cheerleading reunion was last weekend is full of crap. Its this weekend and centered around the Lady Vols game. No, I don't think Gruden will be there. I do wish that people would check the source before they post things that can be proven. Likewise, admitting you read it on another message board or disclaiming you are full of **** would be nice as well. Gruden probaly wasn't at the game, hate to break it to you. And, think about how fun it will be to avoid hurricane season altogether. |

| 144 pages about a guy who would have to take a $2 million paycut to come to UT and has NEVER coached 1 down in college.
Wow. Most UT fans are hard up for a "name" coach. Gruden is not coming to Tennessee until he retires here after the NFL and that will be to RETIRE at Dollywood.
Butch Davis said no, as well. Strike 2 for the Vols.
Leach is the "name" out now.......1 great year in a conf that has only had 2 decent teams the last 6/7 yrs (not counting this year). Man .....he must be great to finish 7-5 in the SWC..oops Big 2..oops Big 12.
Lane Kiffin should be the man. He will bring in a great staff. |
