My two daughters are still in training although my middle did name her cat smokey.
I have the same thing! My daughter loves it!

I'm attempting to teach my son all about UT sports. He's having a hard time grasping it though.

Right now - instead of "Go Vols" I get a sound kind of like "caashjooooo".

He is only 3.5 months old though. I'm hoping to have him singing the chorus to RockyTop by the time he is 6 months old.

Took my son to his first UT game in 1992 when he was age 7, against Kentucky. He's been hooked ever since and bleeds orange. Not such good news on my spouse side. She is a UK grad from a UK family (in Louisville), previously married to a UK fan with 3 UK diehard children (I still feed them, nonetheless). Worst part is having to pretend I'm happy for them all when the Cats win in hoops. She says everything is cool with beating them in football as long as we don't beat them in hoops. I'm not holding up my end too well since Pearl showed up. I know they keep waiting every fall to let me have it Thanksgiving weekend when UT-UK play. Could be the year they get even....

The first article of clothing to touch my son was a UT onesie (sp?) that said Born to Go to UT!

He's 8 now and wears orange at least once a day. I've got a mean linebacker in the making. He's 8 & dad's 6' 1" 255.....his mom's short so we'll just have to see. My new wife's half-asian so if we could get this baby thing going I'll be sending in ninjas to handle Saban & Meyer.

My kids learned to pull for Tennessee at an early age because Daddy would be very grumpy if they lost...........

Now my daughter asks me what will happen if she marries a bama fan and I tell her that I'll still love her but I'll miss her at Christmas because there's no way I would let the bum in the house.

I feel your pain.....I also married a UK grad and live in central Kentucky. But thank God my children have grown up to be VOLS....My oldest will be a freshman at UK next fall, and I told her that it would be wise to take the power "T" off the back of her car before going to college...and she replied "NEVER"....She will not be living on campus....She wanted to attend UT but with living in KY out of state tuition is just to high.

Huge fail I suppose.
I wouldn't mind if my kid was a Dawg fan, as long as she wouldn't mind sleeping in the garage.

Why would you let her in the garage?

I'm certainly not going to put her outside. What if someone who knew me drove by, and saw her wearing Dawg gear?

My daughter is 11 and my son is 8. They both had to have a new jersey before school started with their favorite player, #14 of course. Even in Kentucky now my daughter would wear it 3 times a week if I let her. With one set of grandparents being Bammers (the wife side) they really enjoy the all Tennessee set of photos we do every year.
