I tell my wife the same, just so she doesn't get upset when I'm teaching my kids that nothing, and I mean nothing, supersedes a Vol ballgame (football or basketball) and that Fulmer can't coach any longer. That said, I still get "the look" from time to time. Maybe 4 is a bit young to be shouting retarded at the TV. |

Oh, and thanks a lot BigPapaVol! My self-esteem just went down! | check out the "putting a face with a screen name" thread.

| Depends on who you ask! My mom gets mad at my dad and me during the games. Especially this season! She says, "If you are just going to keep being so negative, I'm going home!"
T-Town- I get depressed continuously reading all of the negative on here concerning this team..even though I agree with most of it. This is really brightening my day! |

| Let me tell you a story..........
I come home one Friday evening from work last year. I walk in the door and look for my daughter so I can pick her up (my usual custom). I find her in her car seat ready to go to our sons high school football game (their colors are maroon and black), to my horror I stand there looking at my daughter in A FREAKING ALABAMA ONESIE!!!!!!!!!! I lost my mind, and my wife knew I wasn't happy. I took it off of her immediately and removed the Alabama patch (luckily it was a cheap stick on). My wife is not into sports much so she just couldn't understand why I was so upset! NOW SHE KNOWS BETTER!
My daughter will be two in a couple of weeks and I am happy to report she has no side effects from being contaminated by bama clothing. She watches games with Daddy and will whoop and yell with me. She loves to say GO VOLS! I do my best to raise her right. Lord only knows what would have happened if my wife didn't have me around!

| KB..I would have freaked out, too! My husband is from LA and is an LSU fan, so he claims. He's not a real fan, like us. He tried to argue that our kids should be LSU fans and I had a cow! I told him when he sat down and watched one game they play, he could think about that again! I am a real fan, win or lose! And when we are out and about on Saturdays in the fall, I am the one who is saying, " We have to get home cause the game is coming on!!"
LSU>>over my dead body!! |

| I started by naming my son Neland. We left the "y" out on purpose so people would pronounce it right. I can't stand it when people say Nayland. That way where ever he goes he represents.
He started playing football this year and the team colors are Blue and Grey. He made his mom sew an Orange power T at the center of his collar like on the UT game jersey's and he put a Big "T" on the back of his helmet. I had to buy him an orange under armour shirt to wear under his pads and he put the orange swoosh in his cleats. He made me order him an orange and white mouh piece like UT players have.

| My son had a Smokey that had his finger raised and when you pressed the paw it would sway back and forth and either play Rocky Top or the "it's great to be a Tennessee Vol" cheer. I have lots of good video of him swaying and singing with that thing.
My two daughters are still in training although my middle did name her cat smokey.

It is a pretty neat children's book dealing with UT stuff. It talks about Neyland stadium. Now every time we ask our 3 year old what his baby sister's middle name is he says "Stadium".

| My daughter has been singing Rocky Top since she was 3.
She calls herself my Tennessee good luck charm.
Yesterday she made me a power T out of orange construction paper, and put For Dad with a heart on it. She told me that that could be my good luck charm if she's not able to watch the game with me.
I have to admit she's learned a few choice words from me watching ball games, but my kid is Orange through and through.
