Eric Berry Plays "Johnny Majors Football"

Thought it deserved its own thread. On Vol calls last night Eric told Bob that his motor never stops because he plays Johnny Majors football.

Somewhere in Tennessee Johnny Majors is sipping a drink and laughing his butt off.

I don't know if Eric meant/really knew exactly what he said. Maybe he was just trying to say his father's roots are from Majors. Either way it was hillarious.

I just hope we don't see EB suspended for "a violation of team rules."

I don't think it was an intentional swipe...but Eric is a pretty sharp guy.

I'm glad he's a vol (and don't think there is another player like him anywhere). He is fun to watch and one big reason I will go to the game this weekend.

I think that it was a slam on the current state of the program. I am sure that Eric and his dad talk about what goes on now as oppossed to the way it used to be. These players run the program now and that is one of CPF's biggest problems.

I think he was only refering to his dad's proud TN tradition. I think we have too many players now who don't understand that tradition.
