It isn't college where you can put together an outstanding team every year.

| Regardless of who Tennessee hires next, one thing is certain: We will all hate him relentlessly and long for the day he is fired. |

| Butch Davis is the best we can get. But we better start this soon. Or he may be gone especialy if it keeps getting worse in Auburn. |

| I am on the Butch Davis wagon as well. I do think Gruden would be a great fit too. It is time for Hamilton to swallow hard and do whats right. Bama figured it out. and now look at it's program. Seriously Mike, do the right thing and bring the program back to the loyal fan base, and quit the corporate glad-handing and back-slapping.

He is a great coach and would be relatively easy to pull from Cincinnatti. We need to get him before someone else does. Muschamp should definitely be in the conversation with Kelly also. Either would suit me fine. |

| My dream choice is Mike Leach. But, Mike Leach is a weird sack so I doubt he would survive the interview. Did you see him in the post game interview yesterday? Have you seen his bizarre pirate obsession? Still, I would love to watch that offense in orange.
My second choice would be Brian Kelly. He's won at all the programs he's been at which is a big must for me.
Butch Davis is a good choice also but I honestly think UNC will open their wallets to keep him and the ACC is there for the taking if he sticks it out.
I don't wan Muschamp because he hasn't been a head coach, and I don't want Lane Kiffin because he failed as coach of the Raiders (see Bill Callahan). I'm not saying those guys won't end up being good head coaches, I'm just saying I want to minimize the risk and they are definitely risky choices.
Todd Graham is another interesting idea, but he would be farther down my list because he hasn't had sustained success yet. |

Lane Kiffin started the rebuilding process Art Shell and Norv Turner failed. There are about 30 guys I'd take over Mike Leach. Not running the ball won't fly in the SEC. |

In fact, a lot of the same people who wanted Majors fired back then now trash Phil because they think he connived to get rid of Majors. |
