So lets throw the names out there, compile a list, debate for or against. Yes, I know, our say doesnt matter...but thats why message boards exist. Technically my appearance at games doesnt necessarily effect the outcome of a game, but I go anyway.
I want Mike Leach. | I want Mike Leach because the SEC is moving away from a power running conference and is turning into a Spread conference, as is much of college football. Mike Leach will be able to pull excellent skill guys from the Southeast, and the Mid Atlantic areas, like Urban Meyer has. If he can bring in a good DC, we would be very formidable. Texas Tech has weak defenses under him because he chooses to use what little skill guys he has for his offense. He would not have that burden at UT. |

| I could live with Mike Leach. He might be too eccentric for the higher ups to handle. It would certainly be entertaining offensively. How long has it been since that has happened? |

| Toss up I would like to see Mike Leach, because he is an offensive genius, Mike Gundy, Pete Carroll, Lane Kiffin, John Gruden, Gary Pinkel and Will Muschamp. I believe the one that would stay on would be Gruden. Most of the others I mentioned would be revolving door coaches.
UT still needs stability, even if not from Fulmer any more. |

2. Butch Davis
3. Brent Venables
Any of these three
Bob Stoops would be my pick but he would not take the job. |

| I don't think Turner Gill is ready for a gig like Tennessee. Even Nebraska saw that.
My list is like this...
Muschamp
Brian Kelly
Butch Davis
Lane Kiffin
the order of that list changes daily! |
