Leach will have to fly all over the country and recruit, which he's never done. I know he's at Tech so he takes the leftovers in the state of Texas.
He will have to find a defensive staff and be committed to that side of the ball. | There are very few people that have had to fly all over the country for recruits.
I'm really not a Leach apologist. I think the man has some definite risk. I also think that a few detractors on this board completely short change what he has done in the Big 12.
Texas Tech is a third tier program. What he has done in Lubbock may not be a miracle but it is darn close.
Surely the man is intelligent enough to build the right staff if he has the kind of resources that we have at UT.
I'm completely convinced that Lane Kiffin will be named the coach of the Vols anyway.... |

| I'll be honest... I just don't want to look at his ugly mug for the next few years.
Also check out the out of conference schedule Tech has played the last few years.
At most they have 2-3 tough games a year.
E. Washington, UMASS, Nevada and SMU don't exactly play great D.

Truthfully this stuff is like the election, I have the guy I want but I'll support whoever becomes HC. |

I obviously want Kelly for my own reasons but when all is said and done I want the best for UT and I want SEC Titles. Whoever can do this will get my full support. |
