Yes and his entourage and his crazy football IQ. All of those things. Speaking of entourage. As soon as his cast is announced we need to get a pic up with all of them in it. With a good title. So if Kiffin brings Monte what does that do for you?

Everyone keeps talkin about how poorly he did in Oakland, what about the 49 pts. a game he put up as OC at USC?? Thats pretty impressive, not to mention he is a great recruiter! We should do very well recruiting along the West Coast. IMO

Yeah but they got a man and he's 40. No I think Belicheat would be successful at ND I just don't see that as realistic. I will say that if Urban takes the job he won't be as successful as he was at UF. As soon as you strip them of their NBC contract they'll become just like everyone else, just wait.

First of all, he only coached for 1 year in the NFL.

Second, its nearly impossible to win under AL Davis.

Third, look at the team he inherited.

Dumbass, AL Davis, drafted Jamarcus Russell who I knew from the start wouldn't cut it in the NFL.

Oakland hasn't had any success at all since John Gruden left for Tampa Bay, and they will continue to not have succes for a very long time.

In summary, it was to big of a job for Kiffin to handle at that time.

I agree but that's still a better argument than Cower coming to UT.

Yes? OK, name a few of the accomplshments.

Monte Kiffin is an excellent DC. But he's what, 87 years old?

I heard he wanted to bring in the West Coast offense and draft Calvin with the first pick and Trent Edwards later. Is this true?

One thing is for sure, Notre Dame's tradition isn't hurting them. Recruiting wise, they're on pace to have their fourth straight top 10 recruiting class.

Betcha neither Myers nor Saban could have squeezed any more wins out of that train-wreck of a franchise at Oakland.

I think I might have heard that too, but I'm not 100% sure.
