| The 2008 SEASON I've heard a lot of talk about UF and UGA but really what do you all see us doing this up coming season?
I see a 9 win season.....
Not counting the bowl game....

| i like this team alot and if we can stay healthy catch a couple of breaks here and there this team could win the sec and go to the natl championship game... all lies on the shoulders of crompton if he is steady well be good and if he puts up big time numbers there is no limit to the potential this team has...
I say we finish the year 13-1 natl champs and now let the negavols respond |

Not counting the bowl game.... | I don't think UGA or Florida play for the NC this year. Everyone's said it about UGA, their schedule. Florida is in trouble with injuries right now and I'm not sure Harvin's is not a lot worse than UM is letting on.
I think the winner of OSU/USC and Oklahoma face off with West Virginia as my sleeper pick. Tennessee's not even in the equation as far as I'm concerned...LSU either, for that matter.

| I would love to see us play in a National Championship game this year but I doubt thats gonna happen! I don't believe we'll have the front seven to carry us there! I think at best we might make a BCS game but thats about it!

| The play of two positions will make or break the Vols this year.
1. QB Will JC be as good as hoped for? (God i hope so)
2. DT will we have a good push up the middle? Will Bolden show the he can be a star in has last year? & will Big Dan Williams continue to improve?
I'll throw in a # 3 for punting and kickoffs in the first 5 games. Will they be consistent enough to change the field?
I honestly see us 10-2 not counting the bowl.
We WILL NOT lose to Florida again. The games i'm scared of are Auburn, Miss. State, & S. Carolina. The GA game will take care of itself if the Vols play to their level of play.
Go Vols!! |

We've kind of gotten spoiled over the past several years having one Colquitt or the other back there. With the exception of one incredibly stupid play at Florida in '05, the two of them have been rock solid giving us good punts and helping with field position. |

Not counting the bowl game.... | 9-3 sounds right. The losses will all come early. Then Fulmer will get credited for turning the team around and finishing "strong" against Vandy, Wyoming and Kentucky. Vol remain biggest suckers in the SEC as Phillip gets automatic contract extension following beat down in Peach/Chicken Bowl. |

I'm not necessarily anti-Fulmer by any stretch, but most coaches could "turn the team around" with that November schedule. |

| What affect does everyone think opening on a Monday night is going to have? Personally I don't think it will be such a big deal because it's the first game of the season, and we follow it with a bye week. If the game came in the middle of the season once the team was into it's routine, it might pose more of a problem. |

Hearing Tennessee and Monday night in the same breath brings back bad bad memories for this old tiger.

| I see 10 - 2, I just don't know who the 2 will be, but lean towards Aub. and Geo. |
